External Feeds: Many websites use automated systems, such as XML feeds or APIs, to pull in extra listings, including sponsored listings from partner sites to boost revenue.
Data Integration: This imported data is then integrated into the website's own platform, making it searchable and visible to site visitors.
Content Augmentation: Backfilling allows the job board to offer a wider variety of jobs and maintain a higher volume of listings, even when direct employer postings are slow.

Obtaining the feed: Your website receives a specific web address (URL) for an XML feed from a partner, such as partner downloads website.
Parsing the data: Your website accesses the XML feed and "parses" the information. XML (Extensible Markup Language) uses tags to define each data point, such as <software_title> and <description>, which ensures the data is both machine- and human-readable.
Mapping the fields: The software maps the XML tags from the source feed to the corresponding fields in its own database. This ensures that all software in the feed is correctly placed in the software title field on the website.
Automating the import: The job board sets up a schedule for the import process to run automatically (e.g., daily or hourly). This ensures that new job listings are added and expired ones are removed without manual intervention.
Adding the jobs: Once the data is imported, the new job listings are published on the job board's website for job seekers to find. Some systems can also be set up to allow for manual review before publishing.

Generates unique links: The CRM creates a specific URL for a listing that includes a special identifier. You are given this link to share on your social networks, through email, or directly with your contacts.
Tags candidate applications: When a visitor clicks a unique referral link, the software automatically marks their profile with the name of the referring source. This ensures the referrer gets credit for the click-through.
Automates reporting: The system automates the process of generating reports on referral metrics.
Provides transparency: Referral tracking portals can give website owners visibility into the progress of their referrals partnerships.

Generation: We create a dynamic XML file containing all software listings, including software title and description. This file is organized using consistent XML tags, making it easy for other systems to read.
Transmission: Your partner will receive a static URL for the XML feed and access this URL to download and import the listing on a scheduled basis, such as daily or hourly.
Mapping and Display: The partner system maps the fields from the incoming XML feed to its own database. It then displays the jobs on its website for candidates to view.
Automatic Updates: The process is automated. As jobs are added, edited, or removed from the source system, the XML feed is updated. The job board automatically imports these changes during its next refresh cycle, keeping all listings current without manual effort.

Equesting data: A third-party application, such as a partner or client platform, sends a request to the job board's API. The request specifies the data needed, such as software matching specific criteria being searched on.
Authentication: To ensure secure access, the application must provide an API key or token, which acts as a unique identifier and grants permission to access the data.
Returning data: Our platform's API retrieves the requested information from its database and sends it back to the requesting application in a standardised format, such as JSON or XML.

API request: When any update occurs (a new software listing added, an existing one is updated, or an expired one is removed), the platform sends an HTTP POST request to Google's Indexing API.
Prompt re-crawl: Upon receiving the request, Google schedules the specified URL for a fresh crawl, ensuring the content is rapidly updated in search results.
